People in Ontario who have cell phones have had their phones beeping the early morning of Thursday due to an Amber Alert that was issued at approximately 11:30 pm the previous night.
2 teenagers were abducted by their father have been found safe and sound by Toronto Police, and their has been taken in custody.
The alert was issued just after 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday by the Ontario Provincial Police at the request of Toronto police.
Officials said two teenagers were last seen in Toronto’s west end and in the presence of their father, who was described as a suspect wanted in connection with their abduction.
Toronto police said the accused was wanted on an immigration warrant.
Amber Alerts are not ideal and annoying but Police have found them to be incredibly useful and reliable.
Ontario Amber Alert has been cancelled. The children have been located safe.
