Team Canada

The COC confirms sport entries and nominates athletes/teams based on selection criteria established by National Sport Organizations and approved processes. It provides Mission Teams, athlete services, logistics, outfitting, and Games operations.

Funding and partnerships

Through corporate partnerships, philanthropy, and programs such as the Canadian Olympic Foundation, the COC supports athletes, coaches, and system initiatives. Marketing leverages the Team Canada brand to tell athlete stories year-round.

Education and community

Programming includes school resources, athlete outreach, and initiatives promoting safe, inclusive, and values-based sport. Legacy projects and community grants extend the impact beyond Games periods.

Integrity and safe sport

The COC works with partners on safe sport education and code-of-conduct expectations for Team Canada environments, complementing regulatory frameworks led by funders and independent mechanisms.
