Professional sports teams in Canada compete in a mix of domestic leagues that are unique to Canada and continental leagues shared with the United States. This article lists all currently active, major professional teams that are based in Canada, organized by league.

Future and proposed Canadian teams
Several professional leagues have discussed future expansion into Canada, especially in soccer and women’s professional sport.
