The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) is the independent, national organization that administers the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP) and promotes values-based sport. CCES delivers testing and intelligence, results management, education, and policy leadership, and collaborates with sport partners to foster fair, safe, and inclusive sport in Canada.

Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP)

The CADP sets harmonized anti-doping rules for signatory organizations in Canada, aligned with the World Anti-Doping Code. CCES conducts in-competition and out-of-competition testing, manages the Registered Testing Pool and whereabouts, and runs intelligence-led investigations. It provides education for athletes, coaches, and support personnel and manages results, including asserted violations and sanctions before appropriate tribunals.

Education and True Sport

CCES delivers mandatory e-learning and outreach, and leads the True Sport movement, which promotes principles such as fairness, excellence, inclusion, and fun across community and school sport.

Integrity and collaboration

CCES works with domestic and international partners on sample analysis, information sharing, and policy development. It publishes annual testing statistics, compliance updates, and resources for substances/therapeutic use exemptions.
